Date Night- August 30th

Date Night (2010)
English- Comedy
Rated “PG-13”
Runtime- 102

Don’t worry, this one is weird too, despite the genre and the players.

Story/Writing: 1.5/2

A middle-aged couple tries to have a special “date night” to get out of their comfort zone. It’s a good thing that the couple is played by two very funny people.

Acting: 1.5/2

Tina Fey and Steve Carell are the obvious main attractions, and you should pretty much just watch them and no one else.

Photography/Set: 1.5/2

Despite the adventuresome sets, the cinematography can’t decide what kind of movie it’s filming. It definitely isn’t mad-cap, but I wouldn’t say it’s anywhere near a drama.

Sound/FX: 1.5/2

Good for a lower budget, but most of their money went into the car chase scene. Spoilers.

Misc: 1.5/2

I recommend this movie, even if I’m not entirely sure why. Fans of Carell and Fey will enjoy for sure.

VERDICT: 7.5/10
