So here it is, a lesson in why it’s so easy for someone like the Nazis to gain power.

Story/Writing: 1.5/2

I wouldn’t call it a textbook write-up of what you would expect. The plot moves slowly enough for there to be some eccentricities added, making the story richer.

Acting: 1/2

It seems like each actor was given their role by a directing robot. “Here is your character’s name and their basic motivation. Beep boop.” This leads to a lot of cookie-cutting and predictable reactions.

Photography/Set: 1.5/2

I have to wonder: Are German school really this super-nice? It looked like they were attending a private university.

Sound/FX: 1.5/2

What music there was filled the air nicely. I don’t know if I agreed with the use of a saturated color palate in combination with added gain in some scenes, as it didn’t add much to the emotional impact of the film.

Misc: 1.5/2

The film is pretty good. I’m not sure what you could use it for, other than a recreational watching among friends.
