Finally found a Bollywood flick that didn’t seem too off-the-wall, but it ended up kinda strange anyway.

Story/Writing: 1.5/2

The character development is pretty good, but it just takes forever to do anything.  I mean, just look at that runtime, keeping in mind that this is a rom-com.

Acting: 1.5/2

Meh.  Everyone does good in their parts, especially well for the fact that it’s so long.

Photography/Set: 2/2

There is tons and tons of apparent production value.  I think it’s kind of funny, because there was probably lots of planning put into making this movie about people who plan events.

Sound/FX: 1.5/2

A lot of great colors and great balance of music.  The slight disparity in my rating comes from the fact that the music choices were a little off in my opinion.  Maybe it’s a Bollywood thing, but the songs often felt out of place and forced.  Perhaps someone with a background in these movies can tell me why singing and dancing are shoehorned into a film like this.

Misc: 1/2

At the end (there were about three consecutive endings, by the way) I couldn’t shake the feeling that it may have not been the best use of my two and half hours.

VERDICT: 7.5/10
