It can’t decide whether it wants to be an epic romance or a thriller. The indecisiveness makes the runtime half an hour too long.
I’m not sure if Ralph Fiennes is capable of supporting the entire plot on his shoulders. Rachel Weisz is whiny and annoying, which prevented me from ever caring about her character whatsoever. That, and she came across as completely self-serving.
Good sets, but the color choices in the lighting were strange.
The gunplay is pretty good, but the soundtrack is a little sub-par for the overall design of the film.
