Bringing my postings for April to a close, we have this classic silent sketch film from Mr. Buster Keaton.
Standard set of comedy sketches put together into a plot arc. Not completely disjointed, but not very linear either.
Keaton is an amazing physical actor, and there are a lot of outlets for his style on tap in this short film.
A decent framing style captures Keaton’s antics across some very cool sets.
A good soundtrack that is a necessity in a film like this. The stunts are also really cool, and made even better by the fact that they were almost all done by Buster himself.
A good film in the silent slapstick genre. Filled with as many gags as the next.
A must for fans of silent films or Buster Keaton.
