What this is: Another misguided attempt to make a quick buck off of family consumerism. A true story about some dolphin that lost its tail in an accident, and the kid who saves it’s life.
A cookie-cutter plot with some modern touches that make it watchable.
Most of the cast is okay, but thankfully Morgan Freeman comes to save the day about halfway through.
Pretty cool sets, and I would imagine that the whole thing was all done on location. I feel like there may have been a few chances lost for some cool shots, though.
Surprisingly good animation effects for some of the dolphin scenes that didn’t involve the animal itself.
You’ll see it if you want to.
P.S.- Check out the new schedule! I reordered some stuff in May because of Netflix disc turnaround times.
