When it comes to movies that have really small casts, it is very easy for one person to let down the entire movie. Even if the director is half the cast.
The story didn’t move anywhere, that is to say, it all takes place in a single apartment and happens in real time. This doesn’t necessarily need to be a handicap for most movies, but in this case it severely limits what can happen, especially with only two principle characters.
The one out of two designated in this category corresponds to the ratio of good actors to total actors in the film. Do the math, but the good one was the director, Noonan.
Actually a fairly well dressed apartment set that fits the period. The camera work inside the set was fairly good as well, and managed to keep the frame interesting.
Obviously not many effects to talk about, but the sound mastering did have some flaws and got quiet at times.
A couple of weird people go on a weird date, leading to a weird movie.
Very slow moving and very muted in tone, but a decent character piece. Good for studying domicile set design.
